Our People

At Northampton School for Girls, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We recognise and celebrate the diverse skills, experiences and perspectives that each member of staff brings to our community. It is through this collective strength that NSG continues to be a welcoming, supportive and inspiring environment in which both students and staff can thrive.

Our teaching staff are highly experienced, dedicated and deeply committed to their craft. They share a passion for their subjects and a belief in the potential of every student. Through innovative teaching, ongoing professional learning and, in many cases, subject-specific research and curriculum development, they bring learning to life and challenge students to think deeply, act confidently and achieve highly.

Alongside them, our associate staff play an equally vital role. Their expertise spans a wide range of areas including student support, counselling, coaching, technical services and essential operational functions such as admissions, finance and HR. Together, they ensure that our school runs smoothly and that every student is supported to succeed.

We are proud to offer a professional environment built on mutual respect, collaboration and care. Underpinned by our values of Respect for Self, Respect for Others and Respect for Learning, we foster a culture where staff are supported to grow, contribute and feel valued as individuals and colleagues.

We warmly encourage prospective colleagues to connect with our wider professional community, where we actively share practice, celebrate success and engage in meaningful dialogue.
