The 16-18 phase of education is the most exciting stage of your education to date. It is a time where you can truly begin to carve out a pathway for your future, studying subjects that you have a passion for. At the Sixth Form at Northampton School for Girls every student has the opportunity to develop their academic potential to the full in an environment that is supportive of not only your current success, but also your future beyond the next two years of your education.

Life at The Sixth Form is varied, vibrant, inspiring and fulfilling. There are opportunities to take part in an array of interesting enrichment activities that both enhance your applications for post-18 pathways and develop the skills needed for later life. You will also benefit from expert post-18 support and careers guidance, so the informed choices you make about your future pathway are right for you, as an individual.

We want the very best for you and if you take on board the opportunities that are on offer, you will be very well prepared for whatever route you choose post-18: university, apprenticeship or paid work. At every point along the way you will be fully supported in your aspirations and wellbeing by our team of committed subject teachers and pastoral staff.
