In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Northampton School for Girls closed with the introduction of the national lockdown in January 2021 and Year 12 therefore moved to remote learning from then until the reopening of schools on 8th March 2021.  During this time, students were taught 'live lessons' online, following their usual timetable, where possible.  Students then returned to face-to-face teaching from 8th March until the summer holidays, but there were disruptions due to students being asked to isolate through the NHS Track and Trace system intermittently.  Online learning was provided for all students isolating during this period.
