Year 7 Open Evening
Year 7 Open Evening 2026

At Northampton School for Girls, we believe that excellence has many forms.
It can be seen in outstanding academic achievement, but also in curiosity, confidence, creativity and the courage to pursue what might come next. Our ambition is simple: that every student is known, challenged and supported to achieve more than they thought possible, while developing a strong sense of who they are and what they can become.
Choosing a secondary school for your daughter matters enormously and can feel daunting. We believe the best way to understand Northampton School for Girls is to experience it for yourself. See ambition, curiosity and creativity in action. Meet the staff and students who bring our school to life and, above all, talk to our students.
They speak about Northampton School for Girls with warmth, confidence and remarkable eloquence. In many ways, they tell the story of this school better than we ever could.
There is something distinctive about NSG. We combine high expectations with a broad understanding of success. We are ambitious in what we expect, but never narrow in how we define success. Every student should have the opportunity to discover where their strengths and ambitions might take them.
Excellence does not look the same for everyone.
At Northampton School for Girls, that is precisely the point.

Please note that we ask that, per family, two adults and one child attend. This is due to the significant demand for spaces and to allow as many families to visit our school as possible.
Please also ensure that you follow us on the following social media platforms where we will share the most up-to-date information about our Open Events and you will also get to see more of the exciting things that take place at our school.
If you are unable to attend one of our open evenings on Monday or Tuesday we do have limited spaces on our open day tours, which are led by a member of the senior leadership team to provide you an insight into our school. To ensure that there are opportunities for as many families to join us we kindly ask that families limit the number of attendees to one adult and one child per family (In the case of twins please contact "admin@nsg.northants.sch.uk" to enquire).
