Parent / Carer Workshops 2024 - Managing Exam Stress

Tuesday 23rd April 2024

6:00 PM

Venue: NSG Library

Free Admission

  • Understanding exam stress.
  • Healthy habits to manage stress.
  • Resources and practical tips to support your child.

This session is run by our Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead Cara Nicholson and our Head of Year 12, Hayley Bignell.
Tests and exams can be a challenging part of school life for children and young people and their parents or carers – but there are ways to ease the stress.

The aim of this workshop is to provide guidance around preparing for and coping with exam season. It is very normal for exams and tests to lead to anxiety, stress, and worry. Stress is the body’s natural response to pressure. While it can help us to focus and feel motivated to get things done, sometimes it can feel hard to manage.

This workshop will focus on understanding exam stress and practical tips to support your child.
