114

An information evening on the UCAS application process for the parents of year 12

will take place on Thursday 20th June at 6.30pm

in Reload Restaurant, Clare Centre.

A Level Graphic Product Design

A Level Graphic Product Design at Year 13 requires students to design and manufacture an interior for a professional client. It must take into account ergonomics relating to the chosen market audience, issues relating to sustainability and be commercially viable. This is a display of some of the students work and consists of the final CAD drawings and final prototypes.

This year the standard has been so high it could be compared to that of 2nd Year Degree students. It makes me very proud to see such talent at NSG.

2012 Secondary School Performance Tables

NSG has received a personal letter of congratulations from the Rt Hon David Laws MP, Minister of State for Schools.  The letter states that NSG is ‘amongst the top 100 schools’ in terms of the progress that our students make between Key Stage 2 (the results from Year 6) and their GCSEs.

Given that there are over 3100 secondary schools in England, being in the top 100 also places us in the top 3% of schools in the country for this achievement.  This recognition reflects the hard work that goes on at home and at school by all members of our school’s community.
